Harold Brown was a successful businessman who wanted to give back to society through the foundation he created. Food security and production were causes that were important to him because of the work done by his nephew, Professor Timothy D. Murray. Providing opportunities for students to advance their education in plant pathology will help enable this important work to continue because of Mr. Brown’s generosity.
Award Requirements
The distributions from this Fund shall be used to support the activities of graduate students in the field of Plant Pathology. Fund can be used for scholarships, professional travel, and other expenses in support of graduate students.
