Dr. Norman “Norm” Scott and his sister, Frances (Scott) Pierce, grew up on the family farm in Peone Prairie, WA. Both graduated from WSU (Dr. Scott ’58 Agricultural Engineering; Mrs. Pierce ’57 AA), as did Mrs. Pierce’s children, Lisa Pierce May (’85 Comm.) and Scott Pierce (’89 Env. Sci.).
Uses and Purposes:
Distributions from this Fund shall be used to supplement the salary of the holder of the professorship in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering, to pay salaries for his or her assistants, and to pay expenses associated with the holder’s scholarly work.
