My interest in the Apparel, Merchandising, Design and Textiles program stems from my own major in the Home Economics department at the University of Washington. That program was called “Clothing and Textiles.”
Working with Carol Salusso we decided to fund undergraduate and graduate student awards in conjunction with the fashion show, as well as providing funds for faculty and programmatic enhancements.
Uses and Purposes
The distributions from this fund shall be used support the Department of Apparel, Merchandising, design and Textiles, providing funding to reward outstanding student achievement, develop and reward faculty excellence, and to support programmatic enhancements.
