The Department of Human Development is within the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences. Students in this department study how children, youth, adults, and families develop, change, and face challenges throughout their lifespan (childhood, adolescence, adulthood). The department is devoted to understanding the nature of human development within the context of families, schools, and communities. Through teaching, research, and outreach programs, they promote the healthy development of children, adults, and their families in the state of Washington and throughout the nation.
The principal of this Fund shall be used to award scholarships to students in the Department of Human Development.
