Arms, George Nathaniel Scholarship

This scholarship is created to honor George Nathaniel Arms, his life and passion for the orchard industry. George managed an orchard for fifty years in Pennsylvania. He would visit his Son, Philip, who settled in Washington and travel Eastern Washington together. During those trips, George delighted in seeing the Washington State University Research Orchards and enjoyed his conversations with Research Orchard Managers and learning the newest developments in the industry. George’s son, Phillip is creating this scholarship to provide life changing support to students finishing their degrees at Washington State University.
