Supporting Funds

  • Distinguished Professorship in Agricultural and Resource Economics
    Support high quality teaching and scholarly work on the economics of agriculture, the food system, resource and/or environmental issues. Supported efforts contribute to the strategic goals of the School of Economic Sciences. The proceeds from the endowment fund may be used to supplement the salary of the holder of the chair/professorship, pay salaries for his or her assistants, and pay expenses associated with the holder’s scholarly work.
  • Sustainable Development Professorship
    The purpose of the endowment fund is to support high quality teaching and scholarly work on the economics of sustainable development. Supported efforts are expected to contribute effectively to the strategic goals of the School of Economic Sciences.
  • School of Economic Sciences Development Fund
    School of Economic Sciences Development Fund.
  • Bertha Leigh Memorial Lecture Fund
    To provide funds to bring in a distinguished lecturer.
  • James C. Nelson Distinguished Graduate Fellowship
    To attract exceptional graduate students with a demonstrated interest in microeconomics. Nelson Fellows will be expected to actively conduct research on transportation economics issues.
  • Endowed Chair in Small Grains Economics
    The purpose of the endowment fund is to support high quality research and outreach activities regarding the current high-priority economic issues facing the small grains industry.
